Jack’s Jigs was first created by Captain Jack Remus of the charter boat “Leader” in 1977. Jack was one of the first jig makers to offer different hook sizes for each jig size, and worked with famed guide and TV host Joe Bucher to design our best-selling Weedless Jig and Musky Swimmer Jig. Jack operated the company on the south side of Milwaukee until his passing in 2000.

The Timian family out of Boulder Junction purchased the company in 2002 and operated it until 2015 when avid fishermen Mark Lenda and Mike Donahue took over. Mike and Mark have grown the company into what it is today through superior product quality and superb customer service. Mark brought Gary Colvich on as a partner after the passing of Mike Donahue in 2020.

In the summer or 2022, native Northwoodsman and avid fisherman Kevin Lane and his wife Colleen purchased the company from Gary and Mark. We are so excited to carry on the legacy built by such great fishermen and such loyal customers!
